Hi, I'm Elyna

I am an earth scientist, business strategist and deep intuitive. I earned a degree in Geography from UC Berkeley, and have been an expert coach in 6 and 7 figure businesses for over a decade. 

I am also an autistic woman with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). I have very different needs, and a very different mind.

When it comes to in-person retreats I know the need for structure, fun, and always having room for our multidimensional selves! 

After 10 years of professionally planning transformational events, I like to think you’ve found a good cookie to do an in-person retreat with. My style is a balance of easy going with structure, let’s just say a lot happens without you feeling rushed.

As someone who has pieced all of this together in my business for 9 years, I know the individual investments that go into branding, messaging, photography, video, and social media creation (not to mention the time). 

I have tens of thousands of dollars, and a lot of damn time, to line these crucial pieces up in my business again and again. And the hard truth is, so often the custom packages available in each of these area is a larger scope than I need. 

Most of the time we just need a refresh in our photography, colors, fonts and website - not a total overhaul.

Your questions answered

Common questions

There are 4 different retreats you can join- you pick which dates are best for you.

All retreats are 4pm Thursday – 12pm Sunday in Grass Valley, CA

All meals are included (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks!). You will be prompted to give us your dietary preferences prior to the retreat. 

We are REALLY into good home cooked food with local veggies and good quality meats and proteins. So expect good food 😉 

The retreat is in Grass Valley, California.

The closest airport to fly into is Sacramento (we are a 75 min drive). 

The Bay Area and San Francisco are 2.5 hours away (in good traffic). 

There is not good public transportation from either airport. Best is to rent a car, or coordinate with another participant.

I can connect you with a couple people who do Sacramento airport pickups. Expect to pay about $100 each way (best if shared with other participants to save some cash!)

Our wonderful beauty artist Misty from Threshold Adornment comes the day of the photo shoot and you can add on time with her. She has options from $55 – $250 that uplevel your makeup an hair if desired. 

Our photographer is one of my favorite people to work with. We’ve been weaving in and out of collaborations for 7 years.

The retreat does not include lodging.

However if you’d like to stay at my house in a shared room situation you are welcome to at for $25/night which helps cover cleaning, set up and laundry. It will be kind of like a dorm style set up, shared rooms but your own bed. It’s fun and we’ve done it before with all the retreats. There are 3 spaces/retreat availible for this. 

If you want your own space I recommend…
The Pines Inn (1 minute away and most affordable)
The Holbrooke Hotel (3 minutes away, boutique, upscale awesome decor)
The Gold Miners Inn (5 minutes away with fresh, modern design)

There also plenty of airbnbs in the area, and I will be honest when I say I hear they are hit or miss. Some people have great experiences and others have not. I would read the reviews.

These retreats have been full of women from their 30s – 70s. 

All ages are bring different voices of wisdom and perspective to the table. All ages are welcome. 

This retreat is not for anyone under age 18.

This is actually great if you just started your business! You’ll end up with so many pieces you need in one go. I wish someone had this package when I was starting out. 

We have one group call before the retreat where we will guide you through a specific process to clarify your messaging. And then give you clear homework to complete before arriving at the retreat. 

Nope. We are cooking simple organic meals and can easily fold in dietary needs. We will be asking everyone participating their dietary needs anyways! 

Even if you realize you need more ongoing marketing support, you’re still going to want to have these photos and videos. And even if you are not the one creating most of your social media in the long run, it’s good to know the pieces involved so you can better guide whoever helps you. No one can read your mind. And truth me, I have watched a lot of business owners THINK that the contractors they hired *could* read their minds. It doesn’t go well. 

There is non-refundable $250 deposit. If you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances you can do so until one month before your retreat. After that one month deadline, we are not able to offer a refund unless someone else registers for your spot (we will put the offer out).
